Tithing Under The Order of Melchizedek - The Benefits Of Tithing!

There are benefits associated with tithing as mentioned in the book of Malachi. At least about 8 benefits that encompass all that a person is about, and all that a person may need on earth.

Before we talk about the benefits of tithing, however, it is important to highlight that God ensures people tithe in one way or the other. The one way is to comply with the set rules of tithing and the other will be to do it through cohesion.

As mentioned before, a tithe is a form of tax that runs the kingdom of God, as such, there are spiritual angelic law enforcers that ensure the principle of tithing is exercised one way or the other. Should one choose not to pay their tithe, the devourer mentioned in Malachi will not be rebuked by the Creator, the windows of heaven will not open to pour out a blessing meaning a person will toil on earth and the fields will cast their vine before time, that means people will experience abortion and never fulfil their tasks on earth.

In summary, the reverse will happen.

In practical life, God’s spiritual tithing angelic law enforcers will leave a person experiencing the devourer for not tithing, always in sickness, losing money and properties, entering bad deals and the list is endless. It follows that not tithing is actually more expensive than tithing. God says non-tithers are robbers according to Malachi.

And the way robbers and thieves pay back in His law is double, sometimes sevenfold and sometimes with their lives and sometimes with all as echoed in the book of Exodus chapter 22 and section 7 and Deuteronomy chapter 24 section 7.

It’s more expensive to be a non-tither!

Choose to be a tither today!
Tithing Under The Order of Melchizedek - The Benefits Of Tithing!
Now to the benefits of tithing according to Malachi chapter 3 section 8 to 10.

1. God said he will open the windows of heaven. Tithing opens the heavens above an individual. The bible mentions the existence of an iron and brass heaven above other people such that prayers do not go through neither does blessings locate them. You need your heavens to be opened over you today and tithing has the power to do it. (Leviticus chapter 26 section 19, Deuteronomy chapter 28 section 23)

2. God said He would pour out a blessing over a tither. The Bible mentions that it is the blessing of the Lord that makes a person rich and adds no sorrow with it. Many people that have become rich using wicked means have never found peace with it. The enemy keeps making demands on them to keep sacrificing more for their wealth and they continue to acquire more at the expense of their peace and joy. Tithing, however, has the power to make someone rich and continue to be rich but yet stay in peace. (Proverbs Chapter 10 section 27)

3. God promised to overtake people with blessing such that there would be no room enough to receive it. The true blessing of God is seen if what one has is beyond what He or she needs. The true blessing of God is seen if what one has is more than enough for them and they can share with people around them and beyond. Tithing causes the blessing of God to overtake one. It causes one to have more than enough. The book of Luke chapter 16 and section 11 mentions referring to money that if one is not faithful with the unrighteous mammon, who can entrust to them true riches. True riches are when your wealth lives beyond you and you can leave it to generations unborn to time and tithes gives this to people. (Proverbs chapter 13 and section 22)

4. God said He would also rebuke the devourer on behalf of people. A good example of the operation of the devourer who is also known as the destroyer is when the angel of death passed through and destroyed the firstborn children of the Egyptians in the book of Exodus chapter 12. After the children of Israel had given an offering that represented Christ who is the first and the tithe of God, God said in verse 23 that He would not suffer the destroyer to come into their houses and smite them. God delivers the tither from the destroyer. Be it incurable diseases that may invade a nation, inflation on their resources, destruction of hope on careers, and the list is endless. But it is the benefit of a tither to be delivered from the destroyer.

5. God will also cause the devourer not to destroy the fruit of their ground. A tither’s life is always restored like the book of Joel chapter 2 section 25 mentions. The years that the locust, the cankerworm, the caterpillar and the palmerworm has eaten from your life are restored. God will cause one’s life to be profitable.

6. God will cause the vine not to cast her fruit before the time in the field. God will deliver from abortion. Your dreams will not be aborted. Your effort will not be in vain. What you start will be completed if you are a tither.

7. The Creator will cause other nations and peoples to call all those who are obedient to tithing blessed. This speaks of recognition, weight and honour. God will give a tither stature and visibility. God will give a tither impact and ability to excel beyond peers.

8. God will also cause them to become a delightsome land. A tither’s life is a life of liberty and joy from within. The atmosphere around one will be refreshing. All the spiritual and physical garbage in one’s life will be dealt with through tithing. Leviticus chapter 25 section 10.

With all the mentioned blessing, the Lord says “Try me on this”. This is the only time one is allowed to try God, in giving their tithes because God is sure to keep His word and to fulfil it.

Tithing Under The Order of Melchizedek - What Is A Tithe?

We have been discussing the principle of tithing, but what is it. What exactly is the tithe?

According to the Bible, a tithe is the first tenth of your increase. The book of Leviticus chapter 27 and section 32 to 33 explains the process of tithing when it was done by the Israelites.

They would pay tithes of all including animals and crops. If say it was animals, the animals would queue and the one who was collecting tithes would count them in tens and removing the first each time he gets to a cluster of ten. So it was never the last tenth, but always the first tenth.

Since the beginning of giving in general, and later tithing, God has never accepted to be an afterthought. If you are to benefit from your giving to God, always remember God will not take anything but an offering coming from the heart, your best offering.

Before we add more flesh to this though, we need to get something out of the way early. Do we “give” or do we “pay” tithe? We have mentioned in our previous post on the reason for tithing and we said that tithe is actually a Tax that runs the kingdom of God on earth. Just like taxes do not belong to the country’s citizens but to the government in any nation and so are tithes. If one boycott paying taxes in any nation they are arrested and even imprisoned. This is because the stipulated percentage of tax does not belong to the people but to the nation at large. If you do not pay your taxes you are stealing from and depriving an entire nation.
Tithing Under The Order of Melchizedek - What Is A Tithe?

To prove that the tax does not belong to people but to the nation, the government even garnishes huge amounts in bank accounts of companies to cover for owed tax with no opposition. Most companies have been through this system in various nations. The fact being that if one is not paying taxes they are as good as criminal stealing from a whole kingdom and therefore are to be brought to book.

This system was actually not originated on earth. It is a heavenly system that is being emulated on earth. Tithes do not belong to individuals but to the Kingdom of God. As soon as one gets their increase, the first 10th is not theirs, it is holy and it belongs to the kingdom of God.

It is meant to run the affairs of God on earth. These principles apply to all humans despite ethnicity, culture, religion, status, age or gender. If you are a human being it means there is a Creator that created you, as such, He expects you to abide by the principle of tithing in order to support the Kingdom from which you were formed. No one can claim they do not have anything to tithe. Every person receives an increase at one point or another even school children. A tithe is not an amount, but a percentage. If all you have received is a dollar, God expects 10% from it and it should be the first 10th which is 10 cents.

Having ascertained that tithes do not belong to individuals but to God, it, therefore, follows that tithes are not “given” but “paid” to a true representation of a heavenly system on earth. The book of Leviticus chapter 27 and section 31 records an interesting point concerning the position of the Creator when it comes to tithing. God says, should anyone skip tithing for any reason, they should pay it back with 20 percent or one fifth on top, and that is “interest”.

Now, one does not charge interest if the money owed is not officially theirs. Tithes belong to God and God alone that’s why in the book of Malachi He says His people are robbing him in that regard. One cannot claim to be robbed if the stolen thing was not theirs in the first place.

A tithe is paid as your first tenth and never as change after one has used the money or items they intend to tithe. This is because the first 10th is meant to redeem to last 90 percent. A tithe is always given by faith to redeem the remainder it represents. A tithe is the one that gives value to the 90% that remains and ensures the devourer does not touch it according to the book of Malachi chapter 3 from section 8 to 10.

Always remember to tithe your FIRST TENTH each time you receive an increase and live on the 90 percent that remains for the greatest heavenly kingdom benefits on earth.

Tithing Under the Order of Melchizedek - The Reason For Tithing!

By God’s grace, I have been privileged to be a consistent tither from 1993 to date.

I was only in secondary school when I started observing the principle of tithing, and it was never about big amounts, it is still never about the amount today, it was and will always be about faithfulness and adherence to the set principle, ten percent from all your increase.

But why tithing?
Why is it necessary to tithe?

If one needs more, if one needs to acquire increase, it is an agreed fact not only in the Bible but various religions that one has to give their way to increase. Getting more in life has just but one formula, which is giving more and this applies to much more other things besides money.

If one needs attention they have to seed it if you need love you have to seed it first if you require others to give you their time you have to spend hours on them as well and the list is endless.

Tithing, however, has a different purpose. In the book of Malachi chapter 3 and section 8 to 10, the Lord accuses His people of robbing Him in tithes and offerings. Then He commands in particular for the tithes to be brought into His storehouse that there may be a provision in His house.

Then He attached a promise to those that would obey that instruction. He said He would:
Tithing Under the Order of Melchizedek - The Reason For Tithing!
1. Open the windows of heaven.
2. Pour out a blessing.
3. Overtake people with blessing such that there would be no room enough to receive it.
4. Rebuke the Devourer on behalf of people.
5. Cause the devourer not to destroy the fruit of their ground.
6. Cause the vine not to cast her fruit before the time in the field.
7. Cause other nations and peoples to call all those who are obedient to tithing blessed.
8. Also, cause them to become a delightsome land

That is a huge promise attached to tithing. We will breakdown a little the benefits of tithing in our next post but in this particular one, we need to bring out the reason for the practice. Why tithing?

The best illustration we will use is found in the book of Mathew 22 vs. 17 – 21. Christ’s opponents trapped Him with a question on whether it was lawful or not to pay taxes to Caesar. When He had asked them to bring Him the money used to pay taxes, He showed them Caesar’s picture on it and uttered this statement, “Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and to God what belongs to God”.

Now, it is apparent that His opponents had not asked anything about what was to be given to God, the issue in question was paying taxes to Caesar. Christ’s response, however, showed that as much as there are taxes paid to run an economy, which was the case with taxes that were to be given to run the nation that Caesar was ruling, God’s Kingdom is also run by a certain type of tax.

Taxes are paid to balance up provisions for basic necessities in a nation. The same is God’s taxes which are called “tithes” and they are paid by people to run the Kingdom or Economy of the Creator on earth. It is the duty of every responsible citizen to pay the tax that sustains all key departments and services of the government.

Just as well, it is the duty of every responsible citizen of the Kingdom of heaven to sustain it with Tithes which is a spiritual Kingdom type of Tax.

If the people of any nation resist paying taxes, all the essential and key services will be depleted. There will be no refuse collection, the police will not go out to perform their duties and the crime rate will increase, the soldiers will not defend the nation and colonization and even slavery will increase, the street will be deem because the lighting services will not be effective, the roads will have amazing potholes and because no one will be repairing, accidents will increase, the delivery of clean water services will be affected and diseases will increase and the list can go on. In summary, a nation can experience a natural shut down if taxpayers are not responsible and fully paying their taxes.

Such is life in the kingdom of God as well, not only will there be no provision in the house of God if tithes are not paid. It is like a food chain that if one thing is affected, the rest down the line are also affected. Not paying your tithes will eventually affect you as a believer in God. The spiritual refuse in your life will not be collected, the enemy will steal your possessions at will because there is no one servicing your security system, sickness will attack at will and your money will become valueless for you cannot spend it on anything meaningful without the Lord pouring out His blessing on your life.

We will discuss more on the benefits of tithing in our next addition and then afterwards point out what could happen to one if they keep ignoring the principle of tithing.

Tithing Under the Order of Melchizedek - Is Tithing Applicable Today?

There are some Truths that usually go unsaid especially about the source of the advancement of a believer. One such Truth or principle is the principle of observing the First or the beginning of a thing.

In this article, we will look at the origins and the relevance of Tithing in this Era.

A lot of sentiments and speculations exist in the Gospel market concerning Tithing, with some believing that tithing is no longer relevant in the era of Grace as it falls under the numerous laws in the Bible.

Today we will not look at exactly what being under the law is but will only touch on tithing as it relates to the law and its relevance today.

When we speak of the Law, what we are actually referring to is the Era of Moses as he was given commandments and laws that would govern the Israelites community. Now, Tithing, just like the principle of First Fruits existed before the law. They all were mentioned and exercised before Moses was even born.
Tithing Under the Order of Melchizedek - Is Tithing Applicable Today?

The first people to exercise the Firstfruits principle were Cain and Abel and of course with different attitudes in their giving which brought consequences thereafter (Genesis 4). Cain and Abel existed way before the institution of the law, so when the principle of Firstfruits was established, it became superior to any other giving law that comes after it and is therefore forever established.

The same is the case with the principle of tithing which began with Abraham when he paid His first tithes to Melchizedek. The law according to Moses was not yet instituted (Genesis 14). Even Levi who came generations after is said to have paid tithes in the loins of Abraham (Genesis 7). The existence of Tithe before the Law makes it superior to the Law. When the rest of the former instituted sacrificial laws were abolished by the coming of Christ, tithing still remained by the reason of its origins and the superiority of the father of faith who commenced it.

To understand this principle of the superiority of establishments that were before the law, we need to look briefly at why the Bible states that the Priesthood of Melchizedek is superior such that Christ's Priesthood is even likened to it.

One of the books that the bible likes referring to is the ancient Hebrew history book called the book of Jasher. In there so much is written about this Melchizedek who is also stated just like in the Bible as having no Father, no Mother and the descent. Also as King of Salem which also means King of peace.

This ancient Hebrew history book does not end by presenting Melchizedek as just appearing from nowhere and then disappearing thereafter into obscurity as is often portrayed of him. Jasher says this Melchizedek was actually Shem and he was the King of Salem also referred to as the King of peace.

We all know that Shem was the son of Noah and he even had brothers, Ham and Japheth. But why does the Bible say he had no Father or Mother and no descent?

The Bible here is actually referring to the origins of his priesthood. In the future, after the law of Moses, the acceptable Priesthood would come from the house of Levi who was Aaron's descendant. However, the Priesthood of Melchizedek existed way before that of Levi, so he had "No father, no mother, and no descent" within the tribe of Levi. He was Superior to them all. He existed and came before them. In fact, if Levi had to learn about authentic Priesthood, he had to refer to the style of Melchizedek for it was superior and superseded his. It stands out therefore that Melchizedek was a title of the function of the Priesthood of Shem. His description pointed to him not fitting within the sons of Levi for he was superior and existed before them.

That is also why Christ's priesthood is likened to that of Melchizedek. It is Superior. Christ does not fall under the tribe of Levi, He is from the tribe of Judah. He crossed all the boundaries of the law by dying on the cross and took on both Priesthood and Kingship just like Melchizedek who was King of Salem and King of peace then Priest again. The book of Hebrews chapter 7 explains in detail this fact which the bible was referring to.

It was Melchizedek`s tribe of origin that was key, not his name. He had no father or mother from the Levi tribe just like Christ had no father or mother from Levi as well. The book of Matthew gives us Christ genealogy from His father's side Joseph and it leads to him coming out of David and importantly again coming out of Judah. The book of Luke does the same, points out Christ's genealogy from His mother's side Mary, and it also leads to David and ultimately Judah along the way.

So Christ had no "mother, no father and no descent" within the tribe which was by the law chosen as priests, making His priesthood Superior to that of Levi, as it was after that of Melchizedek which existed first. And such is our own Priesthood as sons of God as well, after that of Christ, who is after that of Melchizedek and superior to that of Levi.

Such is the order of tithes as well.

The tithing act existed way before the law and so is superior to the law and is here to stay with us.
